MGH Korea has now expanding its journey of Korean language education and cultural exchange to Aizawl, Mizoram.
As the global popularity of Korean language, K-culture, K-pop, Korean universities, and career opportunities continues to grow, MGH Korea proudly launched its new branch in Aizawl with a vision to make quality Korean education accessible to students across Northeast India.
At MGH Korea, we believe language is more than communication, it is a bridge to global opportunities, cultural understanding, and personal growth. Inspired by this vision, MGH Korea Aizawl was established to create a strong Korean learning community in the Northeast region and help students explore opportunities in South Korea through language education, cultural programs, TOPIK preparation, study abroad guidance, and career support.
First-Ever K-Pop Event in Northeast India
One of the biggest milestones for MGH Korea Aizawl was the successful organization of its first K-pop event in December 2025 — recognized as one of the first major Korean cultural and K-pop events hosted in the Northeast region.
The event brought together K-culture enthusiasts, students, performers, and Korean language learners under one platform to celebrate Korean music, dance, fashion, and culture. It created an exciting space for youth to connect through their shared passion for Korea and highlighted the rapidly growing Korean wave (Hallyu) in Northeast India.
This landmark event reflected MGH Korea’s commitment to promoting meaningful cultural exchange and building a vibrant Korean learning community in Aizawl.
MGH Korea & Pachhunga University College: A Proud Milestone
In December 2025, MGH Korea signed its first MOU with Pachhunga University College, marking the beginning of Korean language education through this academic partnership.
Just five months later, in May 2026, our first Korean Beginner Level batch successfully completed their course, achieving a significant milestone in this journey.
This achievement reflects the dedication of our students and the success of our collaboration in bringing new educational and cultural opportunities to Mizoram.
From our first MOU to our first graduating batch—this is just the beginning of a remarkable journey.
From Partnership to Progress: MGH Korea ICFAI University
Since the collaboration began, MGH Korea has actively participated in the university’s Job Fair, engaging with students on career pathways connected to Korean language proficiency and international opportunities. Additionally, we successfully hosted an online seminar on the future prospects of the Korean language, providing Aizawl students with valuable insights into higher education, scholarships, and career opportunities in South Korea.

Connecting Mizoram to Korea Through Education, Language & Culture
MGH Korea & Mizoram University Strengthen Partnership for Korean Language Education.
MGH Korea, in collaboration with 6 Sigma, continues to strengthen its partnership with the Mizoram University Incubation Centre (MUIC). Following the successful MoU signed in January 2026, a new MoU for Korean Language Education has been established to expand Korean language learning opportunities for students.
To celebrate this collaboration, MGH Korea hosted a Korean Language & Culture Event at Mizoram University. Led by Professor Lee and the MGH Korea team, the event highlighted the benefits of learning Korean, studying in South Korea, and understanding Korean culture. Students also enjoyed a vibrant traditional Korean dance performance, making the event a memorable cultural exchange.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering students with global education opportunities through language, culture, and international academic partnerships.
MGH Korea & North College, Aizawl Strengthen Partnership for Korean Language and Culture
MGH Korea is delighted to announce the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with North College, Aizawl, marking the beginning of a promising collaboration to promote Korean language and cultural education.
As part of this partnership, MGH Korea and North College will proudly host their 2nd K-Pop Event in July 2026, bringing together students and K-culture enthusiasts for an exciting celebration of Korean music, dance, and culture.
In addition, Korean language classes will officially commence under this collaboration, providing students with the opportunity to develop Korean language skills, explore Korean culture, and prepare for future academic and career opportunities in South Korea.
